Responsibilities:

The overall Branch Enterprise Wide Risk and Remediation governance is complemented by the management structure and roles and responsibility across the Management Committees, Branch Management, and the Three Lines of Defense model. The main roles and responsibilities for the Associate – Business Risk Control Associate are included below:

  • Support the BRIC Team Head and Business Risk Control Officer in executing remediation related tasks;
  • Assist in periodic BRIC reporting including but not limited to quarterly, KRI, and ad-hoc reporting, etc.;
  • Assist in tracking and monitoring issue management across BRIC and CBU operation;
  • Working with the BRIC team in identifying potential material and emerging risks that might be applicable to the Covered BUs;
  • Coordinate periodic BRIC Team and cross department meetings;
  • Coordinate with Covered BUs and organize internal training sessions and promote 1LOD proactive risk management;
  • Assist the BRIC Team Head on other ad-hoc tasks as assigned;
  • Act as risk manager with the responsibility for identifying, acting on and escalating risks and are held strictly accountable for the failure to discharge their risk management duties; Be responsible for demonstrating risk awareness by following all policies, procedures, and internal control in their daily routine;
