
International Banking Client
Office Status: Hybrid (3 days per week)
Salary: $120,000
Responsibilities:
- Perform KYC/CDD QAs on new customers/onboarding reviews and compose memos to Compliance Committee for any necessary exceptions or escalation
- Review case investigations on customers whose transactions have been escalated for potential suspicious activity identification
- Review & approve SAR forms and narratives for eligible cases
- Review & approve CTR forms for eligible transactions
- Technical point of contact within the Compliance area for audits, examinations, and consultancy engagements
- Ensure department metrics are delivered timely and accurately to all relevant counterparties (Head Office, parent company, regulators, etc.)
- Maintain adequate vendor documentation and tracking, and perform Compliance screenings/reviews whenever necessary on applicable vendors
- Ensure relevant training is delivered to all applicable employees and that training materials are kept up to date with regulatory expectations
- Coordinate system resources with local and Head Office Information Technology and Information Security teams
- Perform QA on alerts generated by the transaction monitoring system
- Provide support for subpoena request and perform compliance due diligence
- Confirm FATCA compliance as needed for other payee banks
- Serve as back-up for other relevant department tasks whenever the primary responsible staff members are unavailable
