CFO and Deputy Controller of an international investment bank is looking for a new AVP of Liquidity Reporting. I’m working directly with the US CFO whose building out the controllers division purely due to strong 2021 performance of the firm. The Manager will oversee a small team covering complex financial reporting and financial operations focused on liquidity regulatory reporting within the firms registered swaps dealer. The Manager is going to have a ton of exposure to senior level stakeholders of the business including members of the front office.

They’re going to be moving to a hybrid work model (2 days a week in office) but are flexible. Great thing about this group is they work good hours considering the industry and if there’s a big project going on with a deadline and you perform well, that won’t go unnoticed – people on this team tend to do really well come bonus time

Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate the daily capital calculation outputs and reports as well as monthly regulatory report to NFA for a group company who is registered swap dealers in CFTC
  • Prepare and validate quarterly capital ratios and credit risk weighted asset calculation for the BHC
  • Assist the team for the transition period from manual to automation process for the capital ratios and credit risk weighted asset calculation using in-house calculation engine for the BHC
  • Participate dry run testing on the in-house calculation engine to ensure the quality of the data sources from the group companies and accuracy of the calculation logic in the calculation engine
  • Identify issues from the dry run testing and remediate all identified issues with the IT and group companies
  • Apply EUC over the capital calculation process and maintain documentation for the controls
  • Assist with any ad hoc requests related to capital
