Consumer Compliance Consultant




Job Description:

  • Assist Consumer Compliance Officer with the monitoring of the Bank’s Consumer and Regulatory Compliance Management System
  • Be aware of relevant state and federal consumer compliance and regulatory compliance laws and regulation updates, including changes to guidance and interpretations and assist to update/change consumer and regulatory compliance policies and procedures accordingly
  • Assist with monitoring and reviewing advertising and marketing materials, disclosures, consumer notice and inquires from the business lines
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking customer complaints, coordinating response, and creating relevant metrics related thereto
  • Assist with developing compliance training on consumer and regulatory compliance related topics
  • Attend consumer compliance committee meetings as requested
  • Assist in ad hoc projects
  • Participate in management meetings as requested by CCO to address consumer and regulatory compliance issues


Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; J.D. is preferred
  • Minimum 5 year’s relevant experience with consumer compliance protection laws and regulations is required
  • Strong knowledge of general banking with an understanding of Alphabet Regulations, deposits, payments, and lending products is required
  • CRCM or other industry designation is a plus and retail banking experience is helpful
  • Strong verbal and written skills are required
