Data Assurance





  • Review business requirements for compliance against relevant regulation based and substantive testing of those requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness of implementation
  • Review of existing framework, including maintains data validation tools and templates, manual adjustments, processes and procedures
  • Coordinates with other related functions (lines of business, data management, etc.) to track resolution of issue findings
  • Perform data testing under the existing data validation policy, procedure and methodology from independent perspective, and properly document the testing process
  • Writes detailed observation reports for report owners of findings, including recommendations on resolution 

Experience and Skills required: 

  • Knowledge of the banking, capital markets operations and data analysis
  • Mathematical skills with an understanding of data quality metrics, data infrastructure, Metadata repositories (including data dictionaries) and attention to details
  • Knowledgeable of risk management and regulatory reporting and associated regulatory requirement (BCBS 239) is strongly preferred
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and risk management tools
  • Professional writing skills and strong communication skill


  • BS/BA in Quantitative discipline or advanced technical degree in finance, financial engineering, accounting, audit, mathematics, or related fields.
  • 1-3 years of experience working in data related quality assurance
  • Experience at a foreign bank organization preferred
