Office Status: On-Site
Salary: $200,000 to $250,000

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Head Office in rating and obtain credit lines to foreign banks;
  • Create/Terminate/Maintain our branch’s RMAs with correspondent banks
  • Expand and maintain network with other correspondent banks in US;
  • Maintain Nostro Accounts, and assist the branch Admin and Accounting departments in handling matters related to expense and settlement with accounts;
  • ooperate the KYC requests on our branch from other banks.
  • Participate in activities/events hosted by other banks and related organizations in the industry to expand influence in local market.
  • Organize and report the business status of the banking business, and the expansion of correspondent banks in accordance with the requirements of Head Office.
  • Own and manage risk as 1st LoD by-products and risk categories;
  • Align strategic, capital and financial plans to risk management goals;
  • Supervise RMs to perform portfolio monitoring at the transactional level;
  • Supervise RMs to monitor external and internal covenants and report breaches (via GCMS system);
  • Direct RMs to identify any loan deterioration and work with credit departments to proactively adjust credit ratings and/or asset classification accordingly;
  • Inspect enhanced portfolio monitoring ad-hoc reports;
  • Act as risk managers with the responsibility for identifying, acting on and escalating risks and are held strictly accountable for the failure to discharge their risk management duties;
  • Be responsible for demonstrating risk awareness by following all policies, procedures, and internal control in their daily routine.
  • Review the loan classification report;
  • Monitor post-disbursement process and review the post-disbursement report;
  • Monitor KYC review and review KYC review report;
  • Direct RMs to report and follow up on the non-performing facilities, if any;
  • Ensure all the reports are delivered on time.
  • Monitor RMs to keep client communication log up to date;
  • Maintain client relationship by understanding clients’ feedback of bank products and services in order to offer satisfactory products and services to clients;
  • Ensure timely delivery of clients’ feedback of bank products and services to internal departments and senior management and work internally to meet client needs;
  • Arrange and coordinate the business visit to the existing clients and prospects;
  • Maintain a healthy and close business relationship with clients.
  • Administer and coordinate the roles and responsibilities of team members;
  • Assign annual target to team members based on the team annual target set by the Branch;
  • Monitor and review the team’s performance and lead team members to achieve the annual performance target set up by the Branch;
  • Provide trainings to team members and supervise their daily operations and performances;
  • Follow the Branch’s remediation plan;
  • Monitor team members’ implementation of the remediation requirement and cooperate with other departments/teams on the remediation work;
  • Participate internal/external trainings to enhance risk management;
  • Provide feedback to related departments/teams about the progress and the questions raised from the remediation work, if any.
