EXTERNAL CLIENT ROLE
Primary responsibilities include:
- Lead and conduct risk based infrastructure audits, including cyber security coverage within a diverse technology environment, including vendor and cloud platforms.
- Prepare clear and concise audit work papers.
- Identified and document control weaknesses, draft planning memos and audit reports, and discuss pragmatic suggestions for remediation with Management
- Participate in the quarterly issue verification process, including validating the satisfactory completion of outstanding issues raised by regulators and/or audits where required
- Conduct continuous monitoring of technology initiatives and processes to identify areas of increasing and emerging technology risks; escalate risk issues as appropriate, follow-up on solutions and propose specific coverage
- Execute data analytics, where appropriate, to move towards more automated testing execution within audit department
- Build rapport with Management by demonstrating professionalism in the execution of assigned tasks
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years IT Audit experience, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity control reviews and testing; Financial Services experience required
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Ability to plan, build, and execute IT infrastructure audits; Detailed understanding of the Bank’s technology environment, best practice techniques, and data analytics where possible
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills; high ethical standards with demonstrated integrity, tact, and diplomacy
- Organized with ability to manage complexity, multi-task, and meet operational deadlines
- CISA, CISM, CISSP, CPA, CIA or other related professional certification is a plus
