Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Assist in the sourcing of candidates by working with agencies, referrals and linkedIn or other web-based sourcing platforms.  Screens resumes for applicability and forwards to appropriate hiring manager for review and consideration.
  • Ensures conformity with the Bank’s EEO requirements and relevant federal and state laws during recruitment process. Ensures appropriate approvals are in place, ensures candidates are all tracked appropriately and all documentation is completed for each phase of the recruitment process.
  • Conducts reference checks on potential new hires; Reviews background checks for possible discrepancies.
  • Reviews employment sources on a regular basis and negotiates fees where applicable.  Explores alternate methods and sources to reduce costs.

  • Assists in the offer and negotiation process.
  • Work with our immigration attorney on the acquisition of H-1B visas and green cards for hiring Visa Status candidates, as needed
  • Manages the on-boarding process for all accepted offers:  partnering with IT, Office Services, Management, etc.

Relationship Management

  • Maintains working relationships with department management and employees as the 1st point of contact for HR issues, questions and concerns.   Escalates and/or resolves issues as needed.

Performance Management and Employee Relations

  • Conducts exit interviews with exiting employees.
  • Assists with supporting performance management system (Success Factors). Delivers training for an employee who is transitioning into a supervisory role and all new employees.

Project Management and Coordination

  • Assists team and/or leads projects on a variety of HR matters including but not limited to:  Engagement Survey, Health Challenges, Learning Challenges, Training initiatives, philanthropy and social events, etc.
  • Assists in the upkeep and maintenance of the Employee Manual and the HR Business Operating Manuals (BOMs), HR filing system, etc.
  • Assists with any upgrade or system enhancements in HR systems including Workforce One, Success Factors, Regulatory University, LinkedIn, etc.
