Senior Business Analyst and Manager

Full Time




Responsible for overall data management and process matters from an IT standpoint utilizing various systems.

1. Key Responsibilities

Ø Support transaction bookings

· Co-ordinate and assist the business in setting up and maintaining transactions in the securitization system

· Ensure system integrity and sustainability: transaction set up and required data points must remain consistent,

as well as tables and other reference items up to date

· Formalize booking patterns based on transaction structures

· Develop an expertise in the bank’s internal proprietary securitization system (SIS) and CPU as well as other

systems currently used by the Securitization team

Ø Manage transaction data and workflows

· Assist with the month end processes

· Review current production processes and develop more efficient methods of compiling and validating the data

· Update and coordinate the maintenance of the team’s Operations Manual for each team

· Document and implement operational governances, in coordination with head office, to allow the activity

monitoring: credit risk, liquidity risk, prudential indicators etc.

· Interact with other groups within the bank to manage and limit operational risk

· Take the lead in developing and coordinating ad hoc reporting requests utilizing all data resources available

Ø Develop tactical solutions

· Develop tools to streamline the current process and enhance efficiencies to allow for greater automation and


· Develop, implement and where appropriate conduct training programs on the bank’s proprietary system as well

as other systems utilized by the Securitization team

Ø Participate in Global IT projects

· Partner with IT, both local and global, to define priorities and strategy to support Americas securitization

business line

· Establish priorities for new releases of the bank’s proprietary systems

· Review and comment on IT specifications

· Design, and coordinate User Acceptance Tests for various releases of the proprietary systems and other

systems used by the department.

· Assist in the implementation of new initiatives set by the bank as it concerns IT matters as well as new


· Work with IT consultants appointed by the bank to assist the business with existing systems and the

development of new tools to manage data as well as enhance productivity

2. Management and Reporting

Report to the head of Transaction & Conduit Management

4. Counterparties and clients

Develop and maintain relationships with outside vendors and peers as needed

5. Communication Key Internal Contacts- Strong interaction with the transaction team and other members of the securitization team Coordination with the project management team in head office Coordination with the IT team locally and head office Key External Contacts- Outside vendors as necessary 6. Systems Outlook, Microsoft Office (expertise in Excel VBA, Access, SQL and experience with object oriented programming (OOP)) SIS (proprietary system), CPU (proprietary system), among others Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities · Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer. · Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. · Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Qualifications/Education Required:

University degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience Required

Experience supporting various systems and interacting with the business and IT teams as well as experience in project management 5-7 years of management experience Familiarity with bank products and financial concepts and terms

Competencies Required

Team spirit and ability to work in an international environment. IT background and knowledge. Proficiency in Excel, VBA, SQL and Access Experience in object oriented programming (OOP) a plus Familiar with information systems and business processes
