Summary:

  • Seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Human Resource Business Partner to join our HR team.  The role will provide support to the Global Markets, Debt Optimization Distribution and Distressed Assets Divisions, including but not limited to recruiting, mobility, talent management, employee relations and overseeing the summer intern and analyst programs.

Job responsibilities will include: 

  • Provide comprehensive Business Partner support to the Global Markets, Debt Optimization Distribution and Distressed Assets Divisions
  • Manage employee relation issues, including partnering with external counsel on internal investigations
  • Coach managers on employee relations and performance issues
  • Advise on mobility and career development opportunities
  • Liaise with business line managers regarding all levels of recruitment
  • Assist with budgeting, headcount forecasting and data reporting
  • Manage the annual compensation and promotion exercises
  • Counsel managers to ensure appropriate/objective compensation decisions are made in conjunction with industry trends, performance, and market data
  • Collaborate with global HR colleagues globally regarding approvals, initiatives, and policies
  • Oversee the Global Markets Analyst and Intern programs
  • Manage a junior HR BP
  • Work on special projects as needed

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in an HR Business Partner role
  • Experience in the financial industry – preferably supporting sales and trading functions
  • Strong client focus, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound judgment, discretion and decision-making skills
  • Work effectively in both autonomous team-oriented environments
