Location: Rockville, MD (locals only) Duration: 2 years Responsibilities include maintenance, support, and operations of software applications running within the bank, ensuring functionality and usability of software applications, diagnosing and resolving application issues to ensure optimal performance and usability for various system users and providing root cause analysis. Candidate will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly operation tasks required for ongoing functionality of software applications. Troubleshoot errors and production problems via help desk tickets, and initiate corrective actions, along with preventive techniques where appropriate. Responsible for creating operation run books and other documents related to production control work as needed. Ability to escalate issues to 2nd level and above as required. Its more of a hybrid role but more on the DBA side.
