Trade Desk Operations Consultant


Investment Firm Client

Office Status: Remote

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Execute trade orders for our retail and correspondent clients
  • Identify and resolve trade related problems
  • Reconcile daily trade breaks with the Street
  • Perform month-end pricing
  • Monitor and resolve daily OATS reporting issues
  • Enter step-out trades on ACT
  • Maintain the order route file table
  • Obtain OTC and foreign quotes for brokers
  • Provide customer support and trade dispute resolution
  • Review items for risk assessment
  • Book trades and/or process end-of-day file allocation
  • Assist other departments with their trade related issues
  • Handle Oasys trade allocation
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned and required

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • 2+ years of securities industry experience required
  • FINRA Series 7, 63/66 licenses required
  • Trading experience strongly preferred
  • OATS experience preferred
  • FINRA Series 55/57 and 24 are preferred
  • Experience with BETA and/or Phase 3, Bloomberg, NASDAQ’s ACT Workstation, and OMS’s preferred
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
