International bank located in Midtown Manhattan looking to bring on a new “VP, AML Compliance Audit” to join their team. The role is currently in a hybrid capacity (4 days per week).

Responsibilities:

• Prepare for each assigned audit by reviewing all relevant materials
• Design and execute assigned audit tests timely and document all test results within the Bank’s
internal audit methodology and work papers quality standards
• Analyze all evidence materials submitted to ensure compliance with regulations, regulatory
expectations and internal policies and procedures, and recommend opportunities to strengthen the
internal control structure, where applicable
• Communicate audit progress and potential gaps/findings timely
• Ensure the final audit reports and deliverables are complete, accurate, concise and timely, and
incorporate any applicable feedback
• Evaluate management action plans to ensure that the audit issues identified are adequately
addressed
• Design and execute audit tests on assigned issue validations timely and document all audit test
results within the Bank’s internal audit methodology and work paper quality standards
• Follow-up with the responsible parties to ensure control issues are effectively resolved
• Conduct continuous monitoring timely
• Understand the changes to the internal and external environment, assess the impact, communicate
any emerging issues to management and adjust validation strategy and/or testing
program/coverage, where necessary
• Support the update of risk assessments and audit plans
• Incorporate any feedback received from the Auditor-in-Charge and Team Lead into future projects
• Partner with data analytics, where possible, to develop innovative audit automated test tools
