Summary:

This position will support the credit approval and decision making process for company’s clients/counterparts. Responsibilities include drafting detailed credit analyses, determining internal credit ratings and making credit recommendations in support of the front office trading activities. Monitoring credit exposures and related reports, creating presentations, supporting new business activities and interfacing with the front office and other internal departments, as well as external customers are all part of the credit analyst’s function.

Responsibilities:

  • Credit Analysis: Analyze and evaluate client credit disclosures, prepare credit ratings and credit reviews, conduct client due diligence meetings
  • Perform trade/transaction analysis, provide trade approvals where applicable
  • Assist in the new account opening/onboarding process
  • Perform exposure monitoring across all trading activities, including exception reporting, credit risk reports
  • Conduct Industry and Trend Analyses
  • Make presentations to senior management
  • Serve as liaison between Credit, Tokyo head office, front office and other internal departments
  • Familiarize/Comply with Credit Policies and Procedures
