Office Status: On-Site
Salary: $170,000 to $230,000

Responsibilities:

  • Establish business relationships with, and promote bank products and services to targeted clients and financial institutions;
  • Understand client needs and identify potential business opportunities with prospective clients;
  • Analyze and evaluate transactions, negotiate deal terms and make recommendations in support of approval of deal terms;
  • Support Team Lead on strategic client account and sector coverage planning (ie white papers, business strategy);
  • Keep up to date on market trends within sectors covered
  • Maintain good client relationships by understanding client needs and client feedback on products and services in order to develop new business and preserve the credit quality of loan credit portfolio;
  • Ensure timely delivery of clients’ feedback of bank products and services to internal departments and senior management, and foster growth opportunities through referrals of client needs
  • Perform due diligence analysis for specific deals including KYC/Compliance and negotiations of financing documents;
  • Supervising Junior RMs in their review of due diligence reports, their liaising with consultants and their analysis of the financial model;
  • Quality control and improvement of Junior RMs’ deliverables; addressing their questions and providing them guidance during the analytical processes;
  • Discuss new opportunities with Credit Approval Department and present new transactions to Credit Approval Committee.
  • Perform post-disbursement reviews reports on allocated portfolio including credit rating analysis and loan classification;
  • Review KYC review and reports prepared by Junior RMs for completeness and appropriateness;
  • Monitor allocated portfolio for financial covenants, performance and emerging issues;
  • Analyze and if applicable prepare proposal for acceptance of waiver, amendments, consents from the allocated portfolio;
  • Provide guidance to Junior RMs in case of questions on their post-disbursement duties.
  • Oversight and training of Junior RMs;
  • Develop KRIs, KPIs and EWI;
  • Reallocate staffing needs as required;
  • Act as risk manager with the responsibility for identifying, acting on and escalating risks and held strictly accountable for the failure to discharge risk management duties; Be responsible for demonstrating risk awareness by following all policies, procedures, and internal control in daily routine.
