VP, Enterprise Risk Management

Job Function:

The incumbent will work with all areas of risk and all lines of business to help support the continued development and implementation of the Bank’s ERM program. This position will support the team in risk aggregation and risk governance framework establishment. Main responsibilities include develop and implement the risk management program and perform the second line of defense responsibilities for strategic and reputation risk.


Minimum 8 years of experience in relevant areas of risk management with in-depth knowledge of reputation and strategic risk.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of banking regulations and regulators such as the OCC, FRB, FDIC, CFPB and FFIEC and specialty in major risk areas.

S/he should have experience in developing and managing risk metrics, data and action plans.

S/he should have experience with risk reporting, risk governance framework and procedures with exposure to a wide range of risk types and collaboration with different business, risk and internal audit functions (all 3 lines of defenses).

S/he should also have strong project management skills and a good ability to manage a team.

Strong communication and writing and documentation skills are also required.
