VP/SVP, Commercial Banking Relationship Manager

A banking client of Madison-Davis is looking for a candidate in the Atlanta area. Their intent is to identify a VP/SVP Commercial Relationship Manager who can grow their presence in both the commercial banking and equipment leasing space. The bank will focus on loans and FMV leases to bank clients in the material handling, IT and healthcare space.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support Commercial/Corporate Banking clients
  • Drive new business development, portfolio management, credit quality and overall relationship management
  • Sources prospects 
  • Own the relationship as the primary point of contact for new business development 
  • Cross-sell the Bank’s products and services to existing customers
  • Work with Compliance, Credit Review and Auditors to ensure credit extension is within policy and applicable laws and regulation 
  • Monitors credit quality within assigned portfolios

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field; Master’s Degree preferred
  • At least 10 years of corporate/commercial banking relationship management experience
  • Strong sales/client interfacing experience and commercial credit knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of financial analysis, risk evaluation, loan documentation and commercial loan structure
  • Excellent sales presentation, interpersonal, negotiation and written and verbal communication skills
