Ian Stewart is the Founder and President of Madison-Davis, LLC and serves as head of the Equipment Leasing/Commercial Finance Division within the company.
Ian has an exceptional understanding of specialized recruiting requirements and an in-depth knowledge of the demands of leadership roles. He has decades of experience in providing invaluable solutions to a multitude of domestic and international clients. His expertise in search and recruitment has played a pivotal role in Madison-Davis’s success within the Equipment Leasing and Finance sectors.
Prior to founding Madison-Davis, Ian was Division Manager for Wells Management Corporation in New York City and earned an MBA from George Washington University.
Since joining Madison-Davis in 2010, Jared has built the Legal and Compliance Division, which manages requisitions for roles ranging from Compliance Analyst to Chief Compliance Officer, among other essential roles.
Prior to Madison-Davis, Jared spent 3 years at Execu-Search Group, recruiting for Compliance and Operations positions. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami.
Jared Bukzin is the Managing Partner of Madison-Davis and developed the Legal and Compliance Division.
Gerard Giambalvo is the Co-Founder of Madison-Davis and head of the Corporate Finance Division.
Gerard spent his first years with Madison-Davis in the recruitment and placement sector of the Equipment Leasing/Commercial Finance Division. He pioneered the specialized Corporate Finance Division, and has since been responsible for new business development and recruitment in areas such as Investment Banking and Capital Markets across a wide range of industry product groups.
Prior to co-founding Madison-Davis, Gerard began his career with GE Credit Corporation and served with Wells Management for three years. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Fairfield University.
Bill Solosy is a Managing Director at Madison-Davis and has established the Consulting Services Practice for the firm.
The Consulting Services and Temp practice consists of IT, Risk, Human Resources, Accounting, and Legal and Compliance recruitment within Financial and Fortune 500 Companies. Bill brings over 10 years of recruiting and client experience within Financial Services and Information Technology.
Prior to Madison-Davis, Bill worked at Booz-Allen Hamilton and CDI Corp. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of Georgia.
Christopher Byrnes is a Managing Director and Partner in the Investment Banking Division of The Madison-Davis Group, Inc., an Executive Search Firm specializing in Financial Services. Chris joined Madison-Davis in 1989 to assist a Senior Partner in starting up and building a new division focusing in Investment Banking. For the past 32 years, he has been responsible for new business development and recruiting in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance and Capital Markets in a wide range of Industry and Product Groups including: Private Placements, Mergers and Acquisitions, Leveraged Finance, Securitization, Loan Syndications, Fixed Income Sales and Trading, Debt Capital Markets, Project Finance and the Industry coverage groups. Prior to joining Madison-Davis, Chris spent nine years in Corporate Finance and Accounting after graduating from Franklin & Marshall College with a B.A. in Accounting in 1979. Chris continued a graduate program at Fordham University and completed his M.B.A. in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1989
Lisa Bender is a Director at Madison-Davis, LLC within the Corporate and Investment Banking Division. She has 15 years’ experience in business development and recruiting in a wide range of industry and product groups. This includes Corporate Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Project Finance, Fixed Income Sales and Loan Syndications.
Prior to Madison-Davis Lisa worked for Harris McCully Associates a leading Human Capital and Career Management Firm used by Financial Institutions and Corporations to provide Executive search and Career transition Services.
Lisa Attended New England College and earned a Bachelor of Science from Stockton University.
Zachary Flood is a Managing Director at Madison-Davis, leading the Credit Services and Risk Management Division.
Since joining the firm in 2015, Zachary has built-out a new department specializing in Credit and Risk Management. His knowledge and expertise in the industry have been essential to the growth of the division. His drive to continuously learn and adapt to the ever changing financial sector is crucial the success of his team and satisfaction of his clients.
Prior to Madison-Davis, Zachary spent 3 years at Solomon Page Group, recruiting in Accounting and Finance. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the University at Albany.
Matthew Yeager is a Director at Madison-Davis and is a member of the Legal and Compliance Division.
Since joining Madison-Davis in 2013, Matthew helped build the Legal and Compliance Division, which manages requisitions for roles ranging from Compliance Analyst to Chief Compliance Officer, among other essential roles.
Prior to Madison-Davis, Matthew spent one year at JPMorgan Chase as a Relationship Banker – Small Business Specialist assisting businesses with account servicing, merchant processing and lending. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science Degree in National Security and Public Safety from the University of New Haven
Sam Freundlich is a Director within the Legal and Compliance Division of Madison Davis.
Sam joined Madison Davis in January 2017 as an Associate Recruiter. After 2.5 years of proving himself successful in the candidate recruitment lifecycle process, he was promoted to Vice President in July 2019. In October 2021, after the successful development, maintenance and growth of his client base, as well as effectively managing a team, Sam was promoted to Director. Sam has placed candidates ranging from entry level Analysts to CCO’s and BSA Officers, as well as excels in maintaining and growing relationships with new and existing clients.
Prior to joining Madison Davis, Sam began his career with NJHPDI, serving as the Strategic Development Coordinator before being promoted to Director of Operations, which included overseeing internal recruitment, hiring and onboarding. Sam earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education & History from the University of Rhode Island.
When Sam isn’t recruiting, he along with his wife and son are avid winter sports enthusiasts (skiing and snowboarding) and in the summer, you can find him and his family enjoying pool BBQs.
Since joining Madison-Davis in 2018 as a Researcher, Alan Velazquez has been promoted to Executive Recruiter and now to VP, Legal & Compliance, Risk, and IT. His dedication to servicing client needs has helped him develop a reputation as one of the most dependable Recruiters in his areas of focus. He prides himself on providing a transparent process to both candidates and clients alike. Alan possesses a BS in Business Administration and Management from Mount Saint Mary College.
Since joining Madison-Davis in 2019 as Head of Talent Acquisition, Danielle Reda has overseen the tremendous growth of the firm. Her role at Madison-Davis covers not only recruiting but also retention efforts. Prior to joining Madison-Davis, Danielle spent six years in Human Resources on the non-agency side. Her ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of the Legal and Compliance space, willingness to take on any challenge and her strength in establishing trustworthy and reliable candidate and client relationships led to her achieving the fastest “Vice President” promotion in company history. She now acts as the client manager for three major foreign financial institutions, leads, trains and develops her own direct reports within the Compliance group and continues to maintain a diverse candidate network ranging from entry-level Analysts to CCOs.
