Office Status: Hybrid (Must Reside in NY Metropolitan Area)

Salary: $145,000 – $200,000

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize multiple opportunities and take leadership role in the underwriting deal process, assessing materiality of issues raised by other team members and flagging to appropriate deal team and risk team members as needed
  • Develop recommendations during the active U/W process as the deal and transaction shifts
  • Own the relationship with Borrower’s management team and transaction advisors
  •  Lead the legal documentation process with external legal counsel, have firm understanding of all legal documents that are required to appropriately document the transaction
  • Identify areas to streamline the underwriting process and procedures, look for areas and opportunities to engage and work with the Portfolio team to improve the U/W process
  • Train and mentor junior members on U/W processes and procedures

Qualifications:

  • 4 – 10 years ABL lending experience in a banking or financial services company
  • Strong credit and financial modeling skills
  • Strong collateral analysis and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to function independently and as part of a small team.
