Title: Senior Accounting Manager

Office Status: Hybrid 3 days a week in office

Salary: $140,000-$160,000

A Real estate developer is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager. This is a family-owned company that started in 1926 that has 3 lines of business Equipment Leasing, Real Estate, and Hospitality. This position will report to the Assistant Controller. Employees earn a pension – 20% of their compensation will be put into this pension plan per year and vests over 6 years, no employee contribution.

Responsibilities:
-Review daily wires to vendors.
-Review daily cash balances for investment.
-Oversee monthly consolidation of all (20+) entities/divisions.
-Oversee monthly financial close of all (20+) entities/divisions.
-Review and analyze monthly account variances for over 50 general ledger accounts for all (20+) entities/divisions.
-Prepare monthly consolidated and divisional financial statements.
-Prepare quarterly reports for individual divisions detailing the results of their operations.
-Oversight of third-party financial statement audits
-Prepare ad hoc owner reports as necessary.
-Prepare and submit periodic financial reports to various lenders.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting
-Minimum 5 years public accounting experience, preferably overseeing audit engagements
-Experience in small to mid-sized companies preferred.
-Supervisor/Manager Accountant level experience.
