Crypto asset management firm located in Downtown Manhattan looking to bring on board a “Senior Corporate Counsel” to join their NYC office. They are currently in a hybrid model, 3 days in the office.

Responsibilities:

•Advise on cutting edge and emerging legal issues as a core member of a growing and dynamic legal department.
•Work alongside other departments across the company, including Finance, Compliance, HR, Product, and Engineering.
•Negotiate, draft, and advise on commercial contracts and partnership agreements, including service provider agreements, index licenses, technology agreements, distribution agreements, customer contracts, vendor contracts, software licenses, consultancy agreements, and marketing agreements.
•Work directly with internal and external clients in the contract negotiation process including ensuring that sales and the business comply with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and company policies.
•Oversee employment-related matters.
•Supervise external litigations and disputes.
•Manage the Company’s broad intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and licensing agreements.
•Strategically oversee the operations of the Legal Department, including contract management, billing, and due diligence.
