Responsibilities:

 

  • Review, set up, email and post and maintain a master list of all client statements.
  • Maintain records for all non-research receivables due from clients, cash received along with related journal entries in Commission Manager “CM” and JD Edwards “JDE”.
  • Create reports for Credit Committee and Accounts Receivable meetings on a monthly basis and as needed.
  • Must learn how to navigate QliqView in order to gather revenue data for monthly reporting.
  • Liaison with the FIX connection Boston office in order to gather details on the number of connections our clients have to disclose on monthly reports.
  • Provide accurate and detailed accounting support for the Client Service team, and liaise with other internal teams to assist in managing the client accounting process.  
  • Assist brokers when necessary with all reconciliation questions.
  • Respond to client inquiries related to the commission management data, and resolve any problems or issues clients have around the accounting in the Commission Management System.
  • Prepare the daily GCIS Global reconciliation with the Data Warehouse.
  • Enter all allocation/correction journals in Commission Manager, and if necessary JDE for all client related issues.
  • Review and approve remittances in Commission Manager approx. 250 per month.
  • Manually create and send via email over 250 broker invoices on a monthly basis.
  • Apply payments related to broker payments on remittances from brokers, create CM journal along with a JDE journal to record the cash.
  • Prepare a mid-month, and month end reconciliation from cash application/journal entries in CM along with JDE.
  • Assist Senior Accountant on all rush CM requests from Client Services when necessary.
  • Review the cash application daily, research and allocate the funds coming in to the proper client.
  • Maintain the daily trade data for all unknown or misrouted trades within the Commission Management System Globally.
  • Review and reconcile ITG’s largest outbound broker invoices to CM on a monthly basis. Approx 30 per month.
  • Reconcile one of ITG’s largest clients global recapture trades on monthly basis, if necessary speak with the trader related to this task.
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with generally accepted policies and procedures
  • Provide backup for the Accounts Payable CM group when necessary. This includes reviewing invoices, approving and cutting checks/wires, and uploading information into JDE.
  • Maintain the reconciliation list on the Finance drive by scanning and uploading all reconciliations done by the Commission Management Finance group.
