Title: Staff Accountant

Office Status: Hybrid NYC 3x a week

Salary: $65,000-$85,000

A global commercial bank is seeking a Staff Accountant that will be responsible for financial and regulatory reporting. This includes generate and post accounting entries, perform bank and general ledger account reconciliations and account variance analysis, prepare management reports, submit financial information in internal reporting system, and other works as assigned.

Details:
-Prepare daily cash reporting and bank reconciliations, including monitoring cash balances, capital requirements, investment funding.
-Assist in the gathering of information for audit and tax preparation.
-Ensure the accurate, timely analysis and reporting of financial information
-Continuously analyze current business work flows and productivity/efficiency results in order to seek process improvements.
-Process invoices including complex and detailed credit card statements, interest payments, expense accounts and other payables for multiple corporations and partnerships

Qualifications:
-Bachelor degree in accounting, good skills in MS office and quick learner of systems. 1-5 years working experience in accounting is preferred. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese is required
