Title: Tax Supervisor

Office Status: Hybrid-NYC

Salary: $110,000-$130,000

One of the largest accounting and consulting firms in the U.S. is looking for a Tax Supervisor to join their Tax Department. The Tax Supervisor will be responsible for providing client service as well as offering a fresh new perspective and technical expertise. The HNW tax team works directly with individuals of portfolios between $500m – $5b. For 6 months of the year the office closes early on Fridays at 2pm. They offer quick advancement for promotions while creating a positive work life balance.

Responsibilities:
-Prepares and reviews tax returns, extensions, and projections for various clients (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, Individual, Trust)
-Knowledge of Federal and State tax law
-Perform tax research to resolve issues
-Maintain frequent contact with client and handle day-to-day client relationship issues
-Build relationships with clients and staff

Qualifications:
-CPA or (in progress) preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Masters in Taxation preferred
-5+ years of professional experience, preferably in a mid-size public accounting firm
-Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills
