Title: Regulatory Risk Manager
Office Status: Hybrid (2-3 days in office per week) – New York, NY
Base Salary: $90,000 – $140,000

Join a leading global financial institution’s Risk team that plays a vital role in safeguarding the organization by proactively managing and mitigating various risk exposures. This position offers the unique opportunity to serve as the primary liaison with US regulatory bodies, supporting examinations and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal communications and serve as the primary contact for interactions with US Regulators during supervisory examinations

  • Interpret regulatory requirements and manage local compliance obligations impacting risk functions

  • Oversee remediation efforts related to regulatory model approvals and examination findings

  • Apply comprehensive knowledge across Market, Credit, and Operational Risk disciplines to guide risk-related business changes

  • Collaborate with various Risk teams and business stakeholders to develop and implement strategic responses to regulatory mandates

  • Prepare and present complex risk and regulatory topics to senior management clearly and effectively

  • Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards, and ensure business units remain informed and compliant

  • Support the scoping, definition, and delivery of business requirements related to regulatory risk initiatives

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to maintain a cohesive approach to regulatory risk management
